Colliers Farm B&B is the home of Russell and Marina Shellard and their family. Russell’s construction company ‘Bramdean Construction’ completely restored both the 17th Century farm house and the adjoining barn in 2008. What is now an impressive beamed entrance hall previously was the milking parlour and bull pen of the old dairy farm.
As the children grew up and moved on, Marina was able to fulfil her lifelong dream of adapting her beautiful home into a sumptuous farmhouse B&B.
Further alterations by Russell and with Marina sourcing fine furnishings and linens, Colliers Farm Bed and Breakfast opened in May 2009. Thrilled to receive Visit England’s prestigious 5 Star Award on their first inspection, Marina and Russell then gained the Gold Award and Sussex Breakfast Award. In 2013, they proudly won the Silver Award for Excellence for ‘Bed And Breakfast Guest Accommodation of the Year’ at the ‘Beautiful South Awards’ on their very first entry.
Marina loves being able to work in her beautiful house and enjoys sharing her home with guests from all over the world.
With an eye for detail and her tireless drive for perfection, every guest is made to feel at home where nothing is too much trouble.
